Here you can watch all of my gameplay videos of What Remains of Edith Finch in this video playlist. What Remains of Edith Finch was a good walking simulator (in a year filled with them). It’s about Edith visiting her now empty family house.

As you explore Edith’s old family home various stories of her family’s history play out over decades of time. One hunting story was about her relative Calvin, a young boy who accidentally dies from falling off a cliff via a swing set.

Whoever installed that swing set in that location was a damn fool and pisses me off even today. It’s only a game I know but What Remains of Edith Finch has me thinking about humans and how imperfect we are as a species.

What Remains of Edith Finch has good storytelling but then again it is a walking simulator. If you want a chill type of game with a rich story check out What Remains of Edith Finch.
