The Surge games are unique for their limb dismemberment gameplay system. Yes you can target enemies limbs in combat. The Surge 2 has a futuristic setting with ruined buildings that was pretty cool. The story revolved around you having to rescue a little girl for what reason I can’t remember at the moment.
The Surge 2 does feature a character creator system, various weapons and skill attributes which mold your hero into your playstyle. Anyways, if you’re into the “Souls” games check out The Surge 2 if you want to try a alternative.
