Spec Ops: The Line is about Captain Martin Walker (protagonist) scouting post war Dubai while slowly losing his sanity due to the realities of war. Gameplay-wise Spec-Ops: The Line is your typical third person shooter which is nothing special in my opinion.
This video game becomes special for it’s story for depicting hard truths regarding war and it’s impact on one’s mental makeup. There are choice sequences in this game that games of today (2023) can’t hold a stick at including RPGs. So yeah, very memorable game for it’s story wrapped in a third person war shooter coat of paint.
