Before the popular HADES Supergiant Games released Pyre, an isometric action sports RPG based on winning games and gaining your freedom. I truly remember very little about this game despite me making 91 gameplay videos of it.
I do remember Pyre’s base gameplay revolved around scoring points/goals etc. In between matches you can talk to other players in a moving wagon the team traveled in. Pyre’s point for playing the sport was to gain your freedom. Pyre is a Supergiant Games game through and through.
It has that Supergiant Games’s atmosphere whether it was the good writing or the music. In my opinion, Pyre is the worst Supergiant Games game made if there is a “worst” game because they made pretty much made only good games in my opinion.
