Feel free to peruse all of my Gears of War 2 gameplay VODs in it’s youtube playlist below. So originally, I played Gears 2 back in 2008 and came away not enjoying it like I had it’s predecessor Gears of War.
Until very recently as of me writing this playlist article I finished Gears of War 2 a second time except this time coming away actually enjoying it quite a bit then I originally had. So yes. I will say Gears of War 2 surprisingly aged pretty damn good in 2026. Stay tuned to JVGS for Gears of War E-Day coverage.
