Battle your way across the ancient world with three new campaigns featuring conquerors, empire-builders, and gifted tacticians fighting desperately against fate! As an additional bonus, the Romans will no longer be bound by time as they become a new playable civilization within Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, ready to battle in the new Age. Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition – Return of Rome is the fourth expansion of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. It was announced on 25 October 2022, on the 25th Anniversary of Age of Empires. It ports Age of Empires content into the Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition client.
