Dying Light: The Beast – The Bait and The Beast: Boss Guide

The key to this boss fight is not to kill The Beast, but to weaken it so that it can be captured. The video showcases a clear strategy for successfully completing this objective.

Strategy and Key Objectives

  • Avoid Direct Combat: The first step is to get the Beast’s attention while avoiding direct confrontation. Your goal is to get it to focus on you without harming it. [01:11]
  • Weaken the Beast: After initially distracting it, your companion will tell you to weaken The Beast. This is where you engage in combat, but you must be careful not to kill it. [01:41]
  • Keep Your Distance: When prompted, disengage and keep your distance while your companion tries to take control of The Beast’s mind. [02:49]
  • Continue to Weaken: When the companion is unable to take control, you’ll be instructed to weaken The Beast even more. Continue to fight it, exhausting its health, but remember, the objective is to knock it out, not to defeat it completely. [03:21]

The video shows the successful completion of the boss fight, with the player knocking out The Beast without killing it. [04:52]
