Now I played the original Demon’s Souls back in 2009 before Video Games Source was even a thing. As a Souls veteran I’d be lying if I said the original didn’t lay the foundation for the love of these Blood-Souls-Iro-Ring games.
But that 2009 game looked and ran like utter shit. So I was hyped as hell when Bluepoint was remaking the original Demon’s Souls game with today’s visuals and it paid off. Playstation 5 Demon’s Souls is a great game and might be one of Sony’s greatest launch games ever.
I actually platinumed the original DS so I knew the Playstation 5’s version inside and out pretty much. Gameplay was better due to the 60 frames per second mode. Playstation 5 Demon’s Souls is still the best looking Miyazaki game IMO.
