Crimson Desert is a massive open world action adventure game with tons of great player agency that takes place in the continent of fictious Pywel. Crimson Desert sports a high fantasy setting with dragons and shit and should also be in the running for GOTY 2026 due to it’s exceptional open world.
Not to say Crimson Desert doesn’t have flaws as it does glaringly i.e. main quest design and it’s obscurity within puzzles and it’s plethora of gameplay mechanics. Also, the story and and writing are mediocre but not “bad”. Anyhoo, you can view my Crimson Desert gameplay videos below. Enjoy!
