Yesterday (12/8/2022) FromSoftware announced via The Game Awards that Armored Core V which released a decade ago on the Playstation 3 is getting a sequel in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and will release next year 2023 for the Playstation 5.
The last Armored Core I played was Armored Core 2 on the Playstation 2. On launch day. That was obviously ions ago. I swear, FromSoftware are masterful at timing this game in my opinion. I HOPE Armored Core VI plays like the classic games with added quality of life improvements gamers expect in 2023 full stop!
Personally, leave all of the Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring gameplay out of Armored Core VI. I know FromSoftware will do the right thing. And to all the recent fans of FromSoftware. Feed the Fire!
