You can view all of my Alien: Isolation Gameplay videos in the video playlist below. If there was a sleeper hit video game for 2014 it was this one. Alien: Isolation was a15+ hour solo campaign atmospheric horror thriller.
You played Ripley’s daughter who happens to be an engineer stuck on a space station with an un-killable Xenomorph. You have weapons later on which can slow down but not kill the Xenomorph. You must avoid the alien by using a sensor meter you hold up to look at.
Weapons included a wrench, shotgun and flamethrower. Alien: Isolation gave me that true feeling of being alone filled with terror. It was extremely atmospheric for a game in 2014. You had puzzles, story beats with NPC’s and different settings to explore. If you’re into horror games you should’ve already played this one – Jason
