This particular playlist on JVGS youtube has over 188,000 views. People care about the Witcher 3 including myself. The Witcher 3 was CD Projekt’s first true open world game. In my humble opinion the Witcher 3 is in my top 5 greatest games of last generation.
It’s crazy how The Witcher 3 wasn’t even the best game released in 2015 though. That title goes to Bloodborne. Regardless, The Witcher 3 felt alive to me. It’s open world. It’s emergence gameplay. The story was great through and through. You had side missions in The Witcher 3 that crushed full scale RPG’s stories.
That side mission was called Bloody Baron. Visuals, sound design and overall content rounded out this amazing game. With the announcement of The Witcher 4 which is supposedly being developed on Unreal Engine 5 has me hyped again for this world. The Witcher 3 is developed by CD Projekt. Initial release date May 18, 2015.
