Here you can watch all of my Steelrising gameplay videos in this gallery. The gameplay below was captured on the Playstation 5’s version of Steelrising in performance mode. Steelrising is a Souls-Like action RPG that features automatons and an alternate French Revolution timeline.
Spiders, the developer of Steelrising are known for games such as Greedfall and Technomancer which I completed. From what I played of Steelrising it is a quality game, however, like other Spiders games it needs a bigger budget to be a 9/10 level type game. Gameplay is solid as well the world presentation design.
There is some jank in-game which is manageable. The music and voice acting are decent as well. Like I alluded to reviews will say 7/10 for Steelrising. But hey who cares about scores. I am really enjoying Steelrising and that’s all that counts. Spiders as a development studio have improved with the last three games they have made in my opinion. Thanks for reading – Jason
