Here you can watch over 100 Star Wars Squadrons gameplay videos in gallery format. As a Star Wars guy I enjoyed this space flight combat simulator for what it was. I remember as a kid a local restaurant (this was in the 1980’s) had a Star Wars space sim arcade game (forgot it’s name).
Visuals looked like ass and all you could do was shoot at the Death Star it seemed. Anyways, Star Wars Squadrons was fun. In between the space flight combat missions you can explore the hub station’s hangar at your leisure talking to NPCs etc. The latter was a good break from the space battles. As for the actual flying and combat it was easy to pick up and learn. Kinda arcadey but fun if you ask me.
