Feel free to view all of my Resident Evil 6 gameplay videos in the two video playlists below. You guys remember Resident Evil 6? In 2023 Capcom are called Capgods. Just keep that in mind.
With that said back in 2012 Resident Evil 6 was all over the place with it’s gameplay mechanics, story, tone and presentation cohesiveness was scattered about like buckshots. Personally, I didn’t enjoy the gameplay mechanics in Resident Evil 6.
The whole 1980’s action movie for 20+ hours really didn’t vibe with what I consider Resident Evil. Resident Evil would next go back to it’s horror roots AND in first person with Resident Evil 7. You can’t deny Capcom bit off more than it could chew with Resident Evil 6.
I mean, didn’t Resident Evil 6 have four or five separate campaigns with separate big time Resident Evil protagonists? You had Leon, Jake, Chris, Ada. Okay that’s four and yet still seemed nuts when all of their campaigns connected to some extent. Capcom learned more isn’t necessarily better with this one.
