You can view all of my ReCore gameplay videos in the video playlist below. Looking back on ReCore then playing Returnal a few years later I can see similarities between the two.
ReCore is a third person action adventure game with metroidvania progression gameplay. You can summon and change animal robot companions that help with puzzles and combat. The jist of the story is about a lone woman who needs to fix her spaceship to escape the desolate planet.
This was an exclusive Xbox gamepass title when I originally played it and completed ReCore. Watch the gameplay videos below and if you played Returnal doesn’t it look like ReCore alittle?
