I only played a few PC RTS games in the past but never finished any of them. Halo Wars 2 had a good story campaign that was heavy in Halo lore uinverse. CGI cutscenes would play out after missions.
The gameplay wasn’t difficult to pick up and learn. The gamepad controls were decent. I remember jumping on multiplayer and getting smoked in my second match! If you are a Halo fan but never touched a RTS video game Halo Wars 2 is a good starting point in my opinion.
