Video provided by Youtube IGN. For the first of August IGN released footage of Gotham Knights first sixteen minutes of gameplay. The gameplay takes place during the opening prologue where we see our first glimpses of Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin and Red Hood meeting in a park. Playable characters all have their own proficiency and stats before choosing who you want to play with.

What I liked early on in this video is how single-player centric this game seems to be for a coop focused game. Atmosphere looks good, animations looked stiff as hell, visuals looked static. But hey, WB has time to polish before October rolls around. Cutscenes blend into gameplay much like the Batman Arkham games did giving you that cinematic presentation.

Batgirl starts off rooftop to rooftop targeting Langstrom’s office at Maulton Hall where she does some in-game investigating. I Loved the Batman Arkham games which was why I was originally concerned about Gotham Knights being so coop focused but after watching more content like the video below I feel better about the final product this October.

Also, I am liking the puzzles and investigative aspects intertwined into Gotham Knights’s gameplay. Just a heads up for now, I will be playing through this game, making gameplay videos and writing a review after it hits the streets. Thank you reading.
