I know all about CD Projekt RED’s past fuck ups in regards to Cyberpunk 2077 very well. It’s the ultimate cautionary tale of hubris and bad decisions. I have made 1000+ launch day console Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay videos in this playlist as proof of knowing how well the devs shipped a fucked up game at launch.
Jokes aside, for the industry as a whole I hope CD Projekt RED gets their shit together for The Witcher 4. The majority of my Cyberpunk 2077 videos below were from the launch day Playstation 4 Pro verson played on the Playstation 5 via backward compatibility.
The game crashed over 100 times. I earned my 1000 gameplay videos #. There are a few PC and Xbox Series X version videos in the gallery somewhere as well. If I reviewed the launch day console version of Cyberpunk 2077 I would give it a 4/10.
I have been playing the final current gen versions. It’s almost amazing. It’s how the game should have launched. I do plan to write a current gen version review of Cyberpunk 2077 in the future. It won’t be a 4/10 I can tell you that already.
