Borderlands 3 used to be a mega popular franchise in gaming two gens ago. Times change and gamers change. The influx of Battle Royal and mobile gaming took away from a few coop titles like Borderlands 3.
Borderlands 3 had quite a bit in it for a Borderlands game. They added content pretty much all the way around from the playable character abilities to maps, cutscenes, story elements and whatnot. Borderlands paid homage to past characters and villains.
What I enjoyed back in the day in regards to Borderlands is the coop multiplayer. You could just get lost in the wastelands riding vehicles and defeating monsters into NG+. I think in some instances games like Borderlands are sorta lost between what is trendy and popular now.
