Assassin’s Creed Codename Red – Ubisoft Forward 2022 Announcement Reveal Trailer

Gamers have been clamoring for years about an Assassin’s Creed game being set in feudal ancient Japan. Looks like wishes do come true because Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Codename Red at it’s Ubisoft Forward event 9/10/2022.

So what does this short teaser trailer shows is a rising sun backdrop with a ninja flashing on screen who then flashes his or her katana in one hand and an assassin’s blade in the other. The idea behind Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is that it will be a large open world RPG. It’s okay, as Codename Red is being developed at Ubisoft Quebec best known for making RPG-esque Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and not RPG-esque Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

Both great games I have beaten. So yea, I’m not worried. As a gamer, I have played just about every Assassin’s Creed game (even the portable ones). To say I am hyped about Codename Red is an understatement. If Ninja’s main enemies are Samurai I’m dead! Or if you can play as a Samurai or Ninja I’m dead!
